Marriage Bureau for T1 diabetes Kids
Due to social stigma attached with the type 1 diabetes, such children face many hurdles for their marriage or they have to do compromise at one or other level. For the first time in the world we have started marriage counselling cum marriage bureau for children with type 1 diabetes. National and international media as well as magazines have taken notice of it. We have received many bio-data from all part of India as well as abroad. Majority of those are from girls. We are successful in tying a note of 18 Type 1 Diabetes. Among them, in 5 couples both are type 1, while in 8 couples counterpart is healthy..
Separate OPD for T 1 Diabetes Kids
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month holds exclusive OPD for Type 2 diabetes children, free of cost at Swasthya Diabetes Care. The same is conducted every last Sunday of each month at Bhuj Leuva Patel Hospital, where the children who are not able to afford get free insulin and free laboratory reports.Our initiative benefits a huge number of children.

Young Leader In Diabetes
Dr Kush Patel has been nominated as Young Leader in Diabetes in the Globe from International Diabetes federation for his services and work in field of Retina and Diabetes.
Type 1 Diabetes Get Together
It includes competitions, games, drama (with a message), gifts and
prize distribution to all the children to impart the education in a fun-filled and entertaining atmosphere. The meet is totally free for children with diabetes along with their parents. Travel expenses and free accommodation are given to needy patients. All patients of Type 1 diabetes in the state of Gujarat are taking advantage of this unique opportunity. The meet is being organized once a year.
